Falling asleep to the sound of sirens
I rode the El for what was probably only the 4th or 5th time in my adult life today. By myself. Yes, by myself. I am home and in one piece so it's ok (really)! :)

Wow. You're a lot braver than I am, Girlfriend! LOL. :) I admire you, though, for getting out and doing cool things. And you are an amazing photographer. Are those all taken with a simple digital? I have a basic but nice digital camera. It is a Canon Powershot A540- 4 megapixels, 4x optical zoom (16x digital zoom). I've had it for 3 years now I it has served me well. It is pretty much a point-and-shoot without too many bells and whistles, but it does have some fun settings that I like to experiment with.
